Money raised from the ticket sales and silent auction supports the Save the Poles (non-profit) expedition - an unprecedented journey to the North Pole, South Pole and summit of Mt. Everest all in one year. The goal of this expedition is to document the last great frozen places left on the planet, promote ways to reduce carbon emissions, and increase awareness to help stop global warming. Equally important, the expedition serves as an inspiration to achieve the hopes and dreams within us all.
