Cancer Survivor

In January 2021, Eric faced a different kind of challenge: a diagnosis of stage 3b colorectal cancer. Overcoming a year and a half of rigorous treatment, he emerged victorious, currently bearing the label of “NED” (No Evidence of Disease). His resilience and courage during this battle are now becoming part of his narrative as he works on a book chronicling his ‘cancer expedition.’ Despite this formidable ordeal, Eric’s dedication to sharing his passion for the outdoors and his commitment to educating others remains unwavering. Residing in Crested Butte, Colorado, alongside his wife Maria and two children, Eric Larsen continues to inspire through his triumphs and unwavering spirit, setting an example of resilience and determination.
