Kayaks and Pint Glasses

The pint glasses arrived! But, they're not actually in my possession yet. So I guess they have just kind of arrived. I still have to go to pick them up, but they're close. Why pint glasses, you ask? They are my new fundraiser for my upcoming 'Save the Poles' expedition. Only $10 plus shipping. I'll post soon a picture soon.
The goal of the expedition is to go to Mt. Everest, the South Pole, North Pole in one year. More importantly, I will use the expedition to promote clean energy and advocate strategies to reduce carbon emissions. In order to do this first ever expedition, I will need to raise a considerable amount of money. Hence, pint glasses.
Here's a bad story problem from 9th grade algebra class: how many pint glasses does it take to... well it just sounds like a I'd better just leave that one alone.
If you're in Bayfield, Wisc. on June 14th, you can stop by the Inland Sea Kayak Symposium where I'll be speaking. They Symposium is a four day event full of fun activities, seminars and lectures. Click on the date on my home page to learn more. Don't forget Thursday night, too. It's a great story. (I have been working up the nerve to tell them that my trip to the North Pole was in a canoe and not a kayak.) Oh well. If nothing else, you get an opportunity to pick up a pint glass and help Save the Poles!
Here's a tip from the Environmental Policy and Law center on what you can do to reduce your carbon emissions: Install Energy Efficient Windows - If you are looking to buy new windows, consider Energy Star certified models. They are designed to significantly reduce energy usage, which in turn reduces global warming pollution from coal plants. They're even eligible for a tax credit! http://energystar.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/energystar.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2535
