North Pole... Here I come [again]
Roughly a week after getting back from Mongolia both Maria and I managed to pick up a brutal cold from our kids. It knocked me for over aweek out and I am still fighting a lingering cough and a general malaise... for lack of a better word. Maria fared better than me (as usual), but the timing couldn't have been worse. I am currently en route to Longyearbyen where I will meet my two clients, Bqchir and Victor, for a 'Last Degree' North Pole expedition.

There is a lot more that I want to tell you about, of course.... about all my equipment, the process of planning and packing for a trip like this, the logistics of Last Degree expeditions, traveling with 'polar bear protection, and more, but that will have to wait until I beat this crazy cold into submission.

Until then, I shouldn't have to ask, but I will. Please...

Think Snow!

Eric
